What PSU is better?

Antec NeoPowerHE 550w

Forton Source 600w

OCZ Powerstream 520w

I've heard bad things about modular PSU's. Anyway, I was thinking about the PCP&P 510w but it's pretty expensive. The Fortron Source 700w is only $170. The OCZ 600w is $200.

This is the system it is going to power:

If you could help me out in that thread to it would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.

The OCZ is the best quality. The Fortron is very good also.

The Antec NEOHE is terrible. Stick with the Truepower.

what one should really be looking at when it comes to psus is the amper ratings which are in this case:
antec - +3.3V(24A) +5V(20A) +12V1(18A) +12V2(18A) +12V3(18A)
ocz - +3.3V(28A) +5V(46A) +12V1(20A) +12V2(18A)
fortron - +3.3V(36A) +5V(30A) +12V1(15A) +12V2(15A) +12V3(15A) +12V4(15A)

the antec is way too low on the +3.3/+5 , the fortron have a total of 60A on the +12V which is 22A more then the ocz it also have 36A on the +3.3V which is 8A more then the ocz. the ocz have 45A on the +5V which is 15A more then the fortron , the ocz have higher amps on the +5V but the +12V/3.3V rails are much more important and fortron beats ocz on this ones so the fortron is the best choice out of the 3 and it will handle your new system just fine

OCZ>ANTEC>FORTON
i dont think antec is better then fortron

you mentioned the OCZ powerstream 600W in your post, get that over all of the other PSU's. i cant imagine that having a problem, and i didnt even look at your system :p

Antec are good for Moderate Cost, Fortrons are great if you want to be cheap. But if you have the money then go OCZ or PC Power and Cooling.

If you want that board to even boot up I'd check out DFI's recommended PSU's. The manufactures tend to over rate their products. It's not the wattage. Its the amps (THE Poop) behind the rails. Just a fair warning from experience. I used the Enermax Liberty 620 to start with and had prob's. Backed off to the Enermax 535 (More Poop) and been working O-Key Doke-E since. Also on their recommended list.
