Looking to build a new PC (2k budget)

My real question is this will be my first computer build and i dont know for sure if everything will be compatible. Like for example the Mob says amd 64fx/amd64 CPUs... i picked out a amd 64 x2... dont know if that will work out or not. If someone could look over what i got and tell me if it will work together or not or if they want to offer any opinions on other items (different) items i should pick up. let me know!

are you planning on overclocking later on? if so, i would get an Opteron instead

I do plan on Over clocking later on yes. Is the Ultra-d compatible with the Opteron.. and also is the 165 one a pretty good one or should i go with the 170?

Well if you can afford it get the opty 170. Also you might want to buy some as5, and a aftermarket cooler such as the Scythe Ninja combined with a 120mm Fan will keep that cpu very cool at high oc's.

yeah, a DFI mobo + Opty is the best overclocking rig around
