Will This RAM fit in my new Laptop?

So I just ordred a new laptop from Toshiba and I ordered 1gb of ram from tigerdirect.com to replace the 256mb stick that I will get stock with the laptop. Well, the ram is here already and the laptop is not, but I realized that the box of the ram say's "desktop memory." I stupidly didnt notice this when I was buying it. Anyway, will this memory fit into my new notebook even though it claims to be "desktop memory"? Here is the
laptop and here is the ram

you're very confused. so-dimm has to do with the physical shape of the ram and the type of slot it fits into (in this case 200 pin so-dimm). sdram is the type of memory chip, Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory. the standard now is DDR-SDRAM or Double Data Rate SDRAM. normal dimm's are used for desktop computers and come as 168 pin, 184 pin and 240 pin versions. 168 pin is the oldest and is i think mostly if not all SDRAM. 184 pin is the most common now and supports various speeds of DDR SDRAM. 240 pin is the newest and is only used for DDR2 ram
