yeah 59 decibels is no joke. and 5 degrees above room temp is prety nice.

I have the 80mm delta on my CPU, the noise at full RPM is somewhere between a vacuum cleaner and a hairdryer... not practical unless you use a fan control with it and run and no more than about 1/2 revs

isnt the cooler master hyper quite good? my friend has one, it weighs 1kg and has a surface area of 3m square. that, with a 80mm delta on each end....

How hard is it to install the Big Typhoon....is it like the CNPS9500 that needs a backplate under the motherboard....god thats so ****ing annoying...

i have this on my 3700+ @2.4 and the hottest it has gotten is 37C

I have this same cooler on my FX-60 and during HL2 it hits about 47-48 C and sits at 41 idle.

And the main reason I chose it was the installation. No need to remove the mobo, just clip it on like the stock HSF.
