yea it catches alot of dust and such and gets good air flow with 3 fans exhaling and 1 fan inhaling, it looks dirty because the filter has only been on there for 4 days or so and it was dirty before, i wouldn't worry about the fan life, i have a million fans

looks like a nice computer...but not to keen on the air filter...its designed for a car not a computer lol....a car suks alot more air at a harder rate as well....i think its pointless to have such a filter...

it's just called a cold air intake, regardless of any type of forced induction.

quite pointless mod, but it looks rad.

and for those of you who are thinking, for some odd reason, it's going to cool down the air being sucked in by a 80mm fan, you're sadly mistaken.

Why would filtering the dust out of air be pointless?

I have to clean the dust out of my PC once a month.

I am planning on buying mesh-screen fan filters, but I guarantee that the cotton air filter mod Carbon_Fiber is using is much less restrictive than the mesh-screen filters I am going to buy
