Never get Value Ram

G.Skill Ram is just as good as Corsair XMS and a lot cheaper.
Get an Operating System.

o i just copy pasted really. Its 1300 pretty much, but i really really need to narrow it down to 1200 though. And i cant find anything that is downgradable by a little that wouldnt effect performance. The harddrive is really expensive, but people said 10,000rpm is real good for gaming and is a huge difference from 7200rpm otherwise i could easily save 100 there, and im hoping case is really good because last case made everything overheat and die.

well the value ram has no head spreader. Not sure what that means, but my last ram on other pc died because it got too hot all the time. I dont want that to happen to this ram.

maybe change the mobo to an asus a8n5x mobo. i noe alot of people around here say asus is a bad brand but they just say that cause everyone else says that. they are a good mobo maker. since your not oc'ing its a perfect mobo

ya get something like this. much tighter timings then the ones you got and only like $10 more expensive after the rebate. and why are you getting 4X512 ?!?! on some mobos that'll cause you to downclock your ram speed. you should DEFINITELY get 2X1gb. for another $10 (after rebate..) you could also get the ocz ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227210

i thot the more dual the better? and woah wtf i thot the rebate ended on that ram. It did i know it did. I guess they put it back on it. The OCZ that is. I guess ill do the OCZ one again its 20 more with rebate.

But wait, if im not gonna OC, wont the OCZ ram run the same as value ram?


O for the mobo, most ppl recommend the DFI, as my last pc had asus and sadly the mobo fried on it. Asus is a good mobo though.
