File Associations

Well i've had trouble with file associations on my computer (doesn't "no" how to open certain files)

i need to know what files are associated with the windows taskbar and system tray so i can find a registry fix

are they now white or lnk files?

well for the other files that it happend to it has the icon of uknown files and when you click on it it goes lighter (this is for the screensaver files) and asks what program to open with.

oh sorry it just turns whiteish and nothing else happens

Try a Windows Repair install. Something is messed up if you cant even get your screensavers to work right. Also i dont think there is any file types associated with the taskbar and systray.
