Okay so Im wanting to get a new motherboard so i can get some pci-e slots. My friend told me that it has to support my processor. How can I find out if it can support my proccessor? I have a intel celeron d 2.66ghz. Im also wanting to buy a 6800GS video card afterwards. So if you can help me then please help me! He also mentiond something about a socket. I dont know what he meant by that.

Will a full size ATX board fit in your case ?
What are the specs of your current system ?
Will the PSU work with the new mobo ?

64mb intel video card -_-
80 gb
2 dvd-rom drives
Windows XP PRO and any more info just tell me!

PSU= Power Supply

What kind of RAM do you have? DDR or DDR2?
What kind of Hdd are you using? IDE or SATA?
What is the mobo you are using ATM?

Use Cpu-z to determine the socket of your celeron D because it seems that there are 2 differerent ones.

im pretty sure it would be DDR because its a celeron.. come on.. lol
i think it would be safe to say IDE
