Question on SATA II option in BIOS

Hello all,

When installing a SATA 2 HDD I see in the BIOS a "Sata 2 operation' section that gives IDE and SATA as the two choices, and defaults to IDE. I'm using a WD 250GB Sata2 HDD, should I just leave that at the default of IDE?

I think you would have to select SATA.

I was thinking the same thing, just odd because all the other default settings on the MOBO actually make sense, so I'm not sure why this defaults to IDE. If anyone else knows for certain please let me know, thanks.
