o yea. power supply. most likely u'll need at least 400 watts so look for one. and a case. i picked mine up for $50. ill give u some parts in a few minutes.

If you get any free time do you think you could put together a list?? I mean if you cant thats cool cuz you have helped me a lot but i really dont have much knowledge on parts. I mean i dont really want to spend a grand on a computer right now i can always upgrade down the road....

Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100106SR-RD Radeon X850XT 256MB 256-bit PCI Express x16 Video Card $180

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 1GHz HT 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor $212

Motherboard: ASUS A8R-MVP Socket 939 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 CrossFire ATX AMD CrossFire Motherboard $96

Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster SB0570 Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card $28.99

Power Supply: Antec NEOPOWER 480 ATX12V v2.0 480W Power Supply 100 - 240V TUV, UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC $95

im going to have to make sure weverythngs compatible but it should be. total: $612. all u need is a case and some memory. ill leave that up to u. ull probably hit about $750-800. if thats too much, downgrade.

and heres some memory:
CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory $129. u might want to private message this list to a more knowledgable person to make sure its good but it should run fine. again all these prices are from newegg. and the case is up to u. i really like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154
but it might be too much. just a suggestion.

if u need a monitor then ull need to downgrade some of this to make room. try downgrading the processor to a 3200 from AMD and maybe just a 1gig stick instead of two 512mb. and if ur desparate, toss the sound card for the time being.

wow.. umm.. ok well first off why go with corsair XMS RAM if your not overclocking?!?... look here and read section three (might as well read all of it).
http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=77323

go with some Corsair Valueselect:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145440

go with this video card instead of the SAPPHIRE (why even recommend a Sap? they suck -.-)

Why spend extra money to get a CROSSFIRE mobo?? get this...Since you saved about 80 bucks so far, you can spend the extra 20 on this...

these are my suggestions: lol i managed to keep it under $500, but if you could muster up another $150 or so, i could make this rig a lot better.

venice 3000+ $132

TUL, 939 $50 mobo, $10 off combo w/ cpu

1GB 1X512 valueselect corsair ram $66.25

6600gt $118 (comes w/ $20 mail in

rebate)
WD 80gb SATA hard drive $51

FSP 450wattt PSU - very reliable $51

case $30

total: $488.23 PLUS $20 maill in rebate

so maybe total after taxes and shipping might just be $500. if you can get a bit more money, even $50 or $100, i can make the necessary tweaks to make this better. good luck.
