$200: What to buy?

your video card is decent enough untill dx10 cards are released. you have plenty of HDD room (280gigs i hope =)) and i think the best thing is to get rid of that old 4x 256 and get nice dual chanel 2x512 ram and sell your old ram on the buy/sell/trade section get some money back towards oyur dx 10 card or a nice mousepad

i say get one stick of 1GB instead of 2x512 so that when you want 2gb, u can just put another gig in there and have dual channel instead of getting rid of the 2x512's and buyin a new set of 2x1gb.

Definitely RAM. Buy the 2 sticks of 1GB and sell your sticks if you can. Otherwise, use them in another system you could build for random tasks or just hosting files for a home network. Whatever the case, the RAM is the best way to go with what you currently have.

I wouldn't put 2 of the 256MB sticks in by the way. Straight up 2GB dual channel, sell or use the other sticks. Then afterwards (of course), get a nice 256MB video card and you'll be set.
