XP pro login password bypass?

Blah.

So a friend of mine gets me her PC because she's having some problems, I think she has a virus. Anyway, she didn't give me the freakin login password for XP Pro. Is there anyway for me to bypass? Obviously, I can ask her, but I won't it's too late for me to call her today and I'd like to get this done tonight while I have the time.

Or is there a default "administrator" password to use in safe mode?

yes. there is no password for admin in safe mode.

not quite , when you install windows you can put a password on the administrator account.. so its very possible it have a password , i suggest youll use this password reset cd

read the instructions and download from nearly the bottom of the page (be aware it wont work if windows was shutdown improperly, if you clicked the reset button or holded the power button for a few seconds then better make a proper shutdown before using)
