On the subject of overclocking... I do not know if I want to with a new 2,500 + computer - but what are the pros and cons anyway? Is it simply for sheer awesomeness?

Also, I have heard predominantley negative things about SLI/crossfire... Should I go with one ginormous video card like ATI Radeon X1900XTX 512MB PCI Express instead of SLI two large 7900's
