ram trouble

ok my friend instant messages me and hes having problems with his comp
this is what he said

any idea why a computer would have issues booting...it goes to the graphics card bios..then motherboard screen and freezes...in order to get it to boot 100% i have to flip flop my 2 ram's...yet i have ran multiple ram tests both showing 100% good ram, and many of my games i play always get errors such as "memory reference error 0X0013"

his specs
amd 3200+, geforce 6600gt, 1gb kingston value ram, kn1 extreme Mobo (ecs elite group)

sounds like a classic memory problem despite the fact that it passes. i suppose it could be a dud cpu so give it an 8+ hour prime95 run to see how it goes
