How do i have 2 hardrives and get them both to work?

well basicly when apokalipse explained and showed me with picture aid 
, how the Jumpers work i knew what to do
I set up my OLD HD (6 gigs), as a slave just to make sure i knew what i was doing and it worked fine...
So i figured the problem HAD to be with my 120 gig, so i installed it by it self one more time... and had to Manualy create a new Partition on it so windows 98 place its setup files....so windows 98 set it self up and installed and deleted all the curropted files on the HD that where left there before hand....once 98 was installed THEN i was able to fully Format C: and i did so...
then just installed XP, and set it up as the master drive.....draged all the files i needed to keep from my old 40 gig one onto my new 120 gig one, then re-formated the 40 gig HD, which is now my Music HD
