Maxamizing Screen Problem

Hello,
I been having problems for the past 30 mins with this problem. I been trying to maxmize the screen to make it bigger but it wont work all it does it makes it meduim size. I talk to gateway tech support on the phone and on they're chat support and nothing has work as of yet. My notebook is a m-350 and my operating system is windows xp and my broswer is internet explorer

its just with I/E maam

1.) Can you resize it to full screen by dragging the corner of the window?

2.) Could you possibly post a screenshot of how it looks when you try to maximize it?

No maam I cant drag it so it will become a full window. Yes I will make a screen shot so I can show what its doing

No maam I havent touch anything in my computer settings accept the desktop background and the color of the toolbar
