Norton Protection

I keep getting a
Norton Protection: Attention!
Access Denied Drive C

Box when I reboot my computers
I uninstalled Norton and rebooted and it didnt come up,
Then I reinstalled Norton and it popped up during the installation.
What can cause this?

Running
Windows xp pro

I side with m3z... i don't use Norton. If i go with a mainstream antivirus program, which i have from time to time, i'll go with Mcafee. My own experience with Norton has shown me its a pain... when it's actually working properly.

Norton Rules

I also love Norton...the virus and firewall. It just saved my WINxp from a virus and blocked some trojans today. I can't believe it.

I just don't like it, and on all the computers i've ever seen it on, installed it on, or taken it off of, it never works properly or it causes too many conflicts with other software programs, or it becomes too unstable way too quickly.

Not everyone is gonna have the same experience. I go by what i've seen first hand above all, as we all do. Therefore, i don't touch norton.
