Okay, so i go from charter and im useing Azureus for my downloads. now i used it when i had 1.5 m and it worked fine i got good speed for what i had and then i just upgreaded to 3.0 m and its even slower then what i used to have i have my port 50,000 open and that port set for Azureus i dont have a firewall other then my windows and i tired to shut that down my friends also came over and tried it and it was slow i dont understand any help would be great

Does your Internet Provider have any restrictions placed on their higher speed connections that you know of? I would also reccomend switching to a few different ports and trying them.

Some ISPs have chokes on the maximum connections a PC can have to try and stop exactly what you're doing.

i dont think they do i have a friend who has the same connection type i do and he gets very fast on it he has the same speed and same isp that i use
