Best OC RAM for 200 Bucks

I like those sticks you linked to in your first post as well. I would guess that the g-skill PC3200 sticks would do DDR500 with the 3-4-4-8 timings that the other sticks have anyways.

Skip those XMS sticks linked to above, both the ones you had listed have tighter timings at the same speed.

ya, if my compaq ram could hit 250mhz (ddr500) then i'm sure g.skill pc3200 can very well top that

I recently purchased 2 x 1gb G-skill http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231047 and got it to 240mhz stable on 2.9v with stock timings (2.5,3,3,6)

I'm very suprised that it doesn't even get that hot.....however after the air from the CPU fan travels through the heatsink it gets blown over the ram so that may help a bit.
