problem with video card change

Hi, I got a Jaton 3D Force B-32plus AGP video card. When I install it and restart the PC I get one long beep and a few short beeps and a black screen. I took it back out and installed the driver first and put the Jaton back in but it does same thing.

Is this card the wrong type or to much for my board to run? [Jmark J-542c] I see where it fits in the slot it has 2 notches in it where my old card has one notch.

Or did I buy a junk video card??

Hi again, I just tried the video card in our newer PC and it works fine in there. Its a systemax a couple years old. So I am guessing its not going to work in my old PC.

Hi again, I got it working now, I had to remove the old vid card from the system first then install drivers for the new card.
