Intel Pentium D Price Drop 50%

This is pretty good news for OEM builders like myself. Now I will be able to build nice Media Center PC's for much less.

Makes me want to uprgade from my amd 3700+ to a intel pentium D 950.... when the price goes down.

I wonder if they are gona drop the prices on the pentium D 805 50% too? That cpu is already only $138 on newegg, so it would be sweet to get a Dual Core for like only $80 even if it is intel.

When the price cut comes, they're going to sell a new Pentium D 960 that runs at 3.6 GHZ for cheaper than the current 950. So hold out for that instead of the 950.
