I am new here and have a second question on air flow over a CPU, does it matter which way the fan turns? I was useing a 60mm cpu fan and decided to put in a 80mm with an adapter, the fan is currently pulling air from the heatsink and blowing it out to the side. The cpu runs at 38 C verses 45c running it the other way. The adapter is about and inch thich and its a thermaltake smart fan but i am useing a manual temp adjuster and running the fan about 4100 rpm. The case its in is a "Demon" with a side fan, bottom fan and two fans in the back, also there is a large(about 120mm) top vent with no fan. I am running a AMD 2600 cpu 2.13Ghz, 2100 ddrram(512MB) and a Biostar m7viw motherboard, its not overclocked but the temps sure are lots better with the new case. I can put two more fans in the front but so far things are running pretty cool, its just used for a few games (ut2003,quake3, and several other like it), so im crazy but it works good for what i built it for.
