I think Im gunna get a CRT

Ok so heres the deal, ive been using a Laptop for months now, and i went upstairs on my little brothers computer. Its a compaq with like a 17" CRT. and i saw the image quality and really noticed the Colours and No ghosting. It was a real eye-opener, because i have always disliked CRT's because the Eye strain id get in the school CRT's.

But this one didnt make my eyes sore, no flicker.

So because im on a budget and i dont want hassle from Dead pixels and native resolution, and also that i have a X1900XT and need to use it with higher resolutions than 1280x1024.

I want a CRT.

So what you think of this one at the very bottom:

Any other advice?

Comp specs:
Opteron 165, Gskill 2GB DDR500, 250GB SataII, DFI Ultra-D, X1900XT.

i don't think theres much to be said...

i love crt monitors, i just don't have the room for it because my desk is against a wall and vary narrow

go for it!!

also, a higher quality lcd will not have ghosting and a much higher quality. you just need to shoot for 8ms response time.

Ya im in total cahoots with the CRT/LCD debacle. For me its High Res of a CRT vs convience of an LCD... :/

I love my crt, only downside is amount of space it takes up and the weight.

but crt have everything... except my old crt weighed about 5 lbs more than my case with everything in it!! lol
