A mobo question

I have a Gigabyte K8n Sli pro that supports Athlon 64, Athlon x2 and Athlon Fx.

My question is: Could i use a opteron ( Single core or Dual core ) with it ?

um........didnt you kinda already answer my question? which is the same as this? that only server mobo's say it supports opteron?

None of the DFI Lanparty Mobo's say they support Opteron, but do they really support Opteron, and if they do, which ones support opteron? im thinking of getting the DFI Lanparty UT SLI-DR, does that one support OPteron?
