my wife deleted word by accident and i need for work. any free copies or trial runs available of word or notepad?

Well notepad should be easy. But i dont believe that Word has a free trial or anything like that. If you still have the CD with the installer you can just reinstall word.

I'd suggest Open Office as well. For a text editor there are loads out there, a quick google search brought up a some. Most of them are aimed at programmers, and are alot more advanced then Notepad.
