Replacing CPU..

im planning on building a gaming pc
something along these lines
-amd athlon 64 x2 3800+ or the opteron 165 ( not sure which one is better for ocing and which will go further)
-Asus a8n sli premium, or DFI Lanparty
-Geforce 7900 or since im getting it in the summer, the G8 if it comes out by then
-Samsung Syncmaster 730 i think its 8 ms, and 17"
-I think the other is Acer or Viewsonic, cant remember, im not a thome right now
-wireless logitech keyboard and mouse, the mouse is the one thats around 30$ i think
-basic speakers
-audigy 2 z
-535 Enermax
-160 gb seagate 7200.8
-benq burner/rewriter/reader, cant remember model name
and thats all i can remember for now.
