whats the diffrence..

ah Ok soo...lets see I have my 7800 GT CO clocked at 450/1100 out of the box....but my question, is there a big diffrence between the 7900 GT and the 7800....I know it has 4 more pixel pipelines....I just want to ease the pain, on seeing the price on that thing and thinking I bought this oh 14-16 days ago...also would it be worht the long wait to step up with the program eVGA offers...I know its out of stock but would it be worth it..also...will this card be good enough to hold me over till G80....

Can you still return the 7800GT? I mean, newegg doesn't give you many hassles if it's within 30 days. I think they even put 'unsatisfied with the item' as the reason for return.

The 7800GT isn't bad by any strech, but the 7900GT have 4 extra pipes, AND higher clocks.

The 7900GT is the same or faster than the 7800GTX. It blows the 7800GT away.

The memory has been OC'ed past 1800Mhtz. (with stock)

yeah i think u shuold upgrade to the 7900GT its better than the 7800 series, i think, and it'll hold really well till the g8s.
