Hi, about 2 days ago, I was watching a video on my computer and my screen suddenly went black and rebooted. As it was rebooting, the screen started showing distorted colors on the POST screen. The letters were all different colors and were changing into different characters such as !@#$#%^&*( and smiley faces and other things like that. It shows all this stuff in bios as well. When it tries to boot up, the windows screen comes up all distorted as well and when it almost makes it to the desktop, it goes to a blue screen and then crashes. When I run in safe mode, it works but its extremely slow and some color is distorted.

I've tried running memory tests and my system passed.

Specs:
AMD 4800+ x2
2 gigs of ram
A8N-SLI Deluxe
seagate 250 gb
eVGA 7800 gtx ko 512mb

Has anyone ever seen anything like this or know of any solutions?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Is it still doing this?

I was thinking it could just be your video card overheating, good airflow? Or maybe bad drivers

Well, shooting in the dark you might want to check your mobo for any obviously damaged capacitors.
Try reseting the bios too.

I have good airflow, system temp is at 35c and cpu is at 44c.

I dont have any blown capacitors and I already tried resetting bios. :(
