Videocard Overwhelmed.

There are literally hundreds of new videocards comming out now, and quite franky, I am confused as to which one I should be saving for. I have to update soon; if you look at my specs you will see that I have a 6600 and I am only running most games at <60fps.

What is the best and cheapest?

Wow. Budget please. The reason there are so many cards is because the companies want to have a card for every budget that people may have.

I'm guessing you mean a price/performance ratio. If that is what your looking for I would go with a EVGA 7900GT off newegg.

The bang/buck cards are always around the $200 sweet spot. Currently, the 7600GT just fell into it.

Or the 7900GT ... it's 2/3 the price of the 7800GTX, but faster, cooler, and OC's better.

I really wish Nvidia would of made the 7600GT's memory 256-bit :-\ That's the key element that's holding me back from buying it. They didn't learn from their victory over the X1600XT (256/128bit with faster clocks) vs the 6800GS (256/256bit with slower clocks).

Ah well.
