constant Explorer.exe problem! Please Help

Hi experts,

my windows XP pro with SP2 all updated keep experience explorer.exe hangs on restart or shutdown. My problem is similar to paddaf but it is also different. I noticed that the Explorer.exe also crashes whenever I try to rename a file using Taiwanese Language IME Input. I did a clean re-install but the problem still occurs.

It would be great if anyone can help me solve this problems because this problem is driving me crazy.

Let me know if I need to post anything.

might be an update issue. What i would do it update 1 at a time and perform the task and do it til it happens

Do you mean update each windows update 1 at a time and see if which update causes explorer.exe to crash?

yes, use the customize section

But I have already installed all the windows update prior to this issue

I solved the problem! I used Ewido security suite to scan my computer in safe mode.. It is such a good program.. I had this ahdp.dll in system32
