7900GTX PSU Connection......

I just read that the GTX will require a direct connection to the PSU to get enough power. I'm new at this stuff, so I don't undertand exactly what that will mean. Where will it connect on my PSU? HOW?

any pci-ex16 card needs a 6 pin connecter that comes from the psu.......

Ahh.......I see. Thanks. My ignorance is what happens when you pay someone else to build your machine instead of doing it yourself. lol I'll learn soon...........I hope.

lol.. if your vid card is pci-ex16 you can easily see the 6pin cord coming from it if you take your side panel off
