It seems my bad luck has turned around...

it took a week for my psu to come in... I opened it only to find that they sent the wrong color... so... I decided to call and send it back... they simply offered to send me a new one of the right color... lol, my money certainly goes a long way...

besides that... the one I recieved is green, looks cool, but is really bright... so... I'll simply use it till I get the new one (blue)

I am quite pleased with 500W, my pc is running a lot smoother.. games gained about 10FPS...

untill they burned out... (took about 2 days for the first, and a week for the second)

the cases are cool though...

I modified one with a few fans and plexiglass to use with a better psu...

I'm not a prideful person... so...

and I appologise to anyone who said not to skimp on the psu...

VioMax? What the **** is that? You should have just gone with the FSP one from newegg. The one that you posted is the best one they have on their site. Go ahead with it or take the money, buy something else for you new rig and then buy the PSU from newegg.

when I build a new pc... I plan to spend a lot more...

for now I just need something that I can rely on...

no.. not really...

I am currently running a 250W psu...

it is probably the only one I can really rely on... just not enough connectivity or power...

and I have an Antec 300W (which a friend is borrowing) that I will be useing when he brings it...

so I might not even buy that psu...



so... what should I buy from geeks for about $30?

Antec's are very good power supplies. What video card do you have now? The MX 4000 or the 6600GT?
