if you want paid ones then outpost firewall pro+nod32
if you want freewares then zonealarm or kerio+avg

nod 32 and vcom systemsuite 6 (firewall and fix it ultilities. the best all in one suite out there). don't use the a/v that come with it. leave it in the background as a backup scanner, in case something crazy happens

i cant agree with the vcom suggestion , few months back ive tried it (didnt actually use it much) but after installing i noticed its incredibly resource hog it made my pc alot slower so i uninstalled it and my pc got way faster as it was before

I never experience that and I'm the 1st person to get rid of a resource hogging program

in fact, I install this on small pIII systems that I sell and I do that because it doesn't hog the system

ok then what program is good but it won't hog up all the speed
nod32 is the most resource light antivirus there is , and outpost firewall pro is preety light too

thats intresting, maybe they fixed it in newer versions that went out since then

nod32, wow its catching on finaly! also for a firewall i would recoment getting a router, let that do all the firewalling for you.
