notebook's card reader cant read anything

my acer notebook's card reader is not functioning. when i insert mmc card, it cant detect anything and just nothing appear on screen. i checked the device manager, it show the card reader is just fine.

i tested with few card,still the same... anyone know how to solve?

i think its very possible it died, try to reinstall its driver if that doesnt work then rma it if you still got warranty otherwise just buy a usb card reader
