Im upgrading my friends PC, he bought a bunch of parts before cause he had money. Now he's going to hone in and make it a better gaming monster. Right now hes got a case, a crapy mobo and a evga 7800gt, and an athlon 64 Venice core 3500+. Here's what he plans to add.

MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136166

Video: (He has one now, and the plan is to add another in SLI) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136166

RAM:pC 3200, 2 1 Gigs sticks in Dual Channel

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148111

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817159056

can't click the links for some reason, too lazy to copy paste

from the apparent parts, looks good.. although "gaming monster" is a bit of an overstatement.

I didn't relize that there was a exact definition of "gaming monster."

I would consider anything with dual 7800's to be pretty monsterous. Much more than I and most other people have at least.

well it doesn't have dual 7800's - yet. and the cpu will be a bottleneck w/ the 3500+
