Pc for heavy 3d app.

hey

I ws plannin to buy a motherboard, ram, and a dual core processor.

I thereby require ur suggestions.

I preferable want 2GB of ram..Mother board supporting SLI..and a dual core processor.

My budget is not very high bt I dont bother much if I have to spend a few extra bucks to make it future proof for some time.

I shall be lukin forward to ur responses.

What is the application?
Most likely go with a new (high Ghz, high FSB) Intel Dual Core P4 or Xeon and an Nvidia Quadro card or Wildcat Realizm or ATI FireGL, if you're running any sort of 3D program that I'm thinking of, like Maya or something along those lines.
Orrr, get a dual G5 dual core computer with Quadro, thats 4 logical processors. (if you dont want to spend money this wont be an option however, >$3000)
Systems like that are designed for workstation graphics.

Building a PC would offer more flexibility, but Apple does make computers of nice quality, especially for what you want to do.
