Which should I go with ATI or Nvidia if I'm going to play these games...

But with the Geforce 8000 (G80), will also come the R600, which we don't know much about. You can get a 7800gt on newegg for about $250 right now, I suggest you do it.

Doesn't matter anymore like it did back in the 6800GT vs. X800 series days. Nowdays you can't go wrong either way. Its nice to see ATI has made a comeback after being so pitful the past 2 years.

They got the X1900XT/X at the end of January, almost 6 weeks ahead of nvidia. You have no foundation to tell when the G80 or the R600 is going to be released.

Don't be an ATi fanboy, G80 is June/July while R600 is Q4. Those are establised release dates.

ATi ARE always late to the new generation. Happened with Radeon 9/GeForce FX, happened with Radeon X800/GeForce 6, happened with Radeon X1000/GeForce 7, and its going to happen again with R600/G80.

I personally think the 1900XT/X is to revenge the 7800 GTX 256/512, not to compete the yet to be released NVIDIA cards
