looks pretty good... but theres really no need for the heatsink or as5 unless you are going to overclock... my 3200+(no thermal paste used and using stock heatsink) venice doesnt run ever hotter then 26c when playing games(cs, bf2,unreal tournament). Also, no need getting a dvd rom, then a dvd burner, the dvd burner is also a dvd rom if im not mistaken. Everything else looks ok to me.

Nice, but you might want to take a look at the MSI K8N Neo4-F. Awsome solid board. Before I got my 6800GS I had an ASUS 6200TC 256MB with 512mb of system ram and the Athlon64 3000 @2.7GHz with the MSI board and Everything maxed out I scored 39.97 FPS on the Counter-Strike stress test. Pretty decent card for the money.

Looks good. I would say get rid of the DVD ROM though.... no need for it. Put that $20 towards a hard drive.

..........why would you even think of NOT PUTTING ON thermal paste!?!??!!

because its not really a MUST HAVE.. my pc runs 19-26C when playing any game I have. Thats why i didnt apply any.

im sorry but as far as im concerned as5 is just barely less important than the heatsink itself, computers can overheat and burn out chips if proper thermal paste isnt applied, plus it cost 5 bucks

thats why stock heatsink's have their own thermal pad under them, therefore.. as5 or thermal paste isnt a must have thing.
