Thats the link to the thread where i was recieving some help. If you dont want to read through (its only about 5 posts long..) but ill summarize it real quick:

The cover is onl about 1/8 or even 1/16th of an inch, but for some reason without it on, my fan "sounds" like it is running fine, i dont know if it is or not. Is it possible and safe to run my computer without hurting it by using my fan without that cover? Or should I just go buy a new one (which i plan to do in the next few days either way)
