BitTorrent Download

Hi guys,

I'm trying to download with BitTorrent but the kb/s are running at around 0-3. Is there anyway to speed it up? I have 522kb/s internet.

I use Sygate Personal FireWall and my DSL modem is a Dynalink RTA100...

Your ISP might be throttling the main port's used by bittorent,Maybe try changing your port and see if you get any better speed's,Try switching to port 1720,It helped me out when i was getting low speed's.

I figured it out... First of all I had to port forward. This is an excellent website: http://www.portforward.com/default.htm

It's working good now.

For sure you had to port foward if you were going through a router
