can these VIVO also take advertising out and etc.?

how much do these VIVO's cost...are the PCI or AGP?

also...do u know do they depend on the video card or something else for the quality of the recording and etc.

My card is 6 years or so old does nothing special about it 10 buck's. Hooked up to cable.I dont really see nay difference between this and regular cable TV.

DvD quality is pretty up there.Guess youed call this VHS quality but im happy with it .

I really wouldnt recommand a AIW card.if yuo up grade the card you got to get another AIW. They pretty spendy. With a seperate card you can up grade with a lot less pain.

i think you are confusing VIVO with TIVO. actually i think you can do the same thing on a VIVO, except take out commercials. pause, rewind, slo-mo is a piece of cake using VIVO because you can either use the bundled player or any player you want.

VIVO are AGP usually, maybe there are some PCI versions. as i said before a VIVO card is simply a video card that has special connections to input analog sources. VIVO can also be connected to a TV to watch movies just like most video cards. hmm, let me just link you to one...ah heres a good VIVO card:

if you want a VIVO that can play decent video games:

A VIVO card typically does not come with a TVtuner built on to it ... U'll hafta use a composite source ..or provide input from another TVtuner ...

The TV-Out will let u use ur TV as a monitor ...Basically it gives out a composite signal of ur display.
