computer question

I just bought a new Opteron 144 Venus CAB2E processor
to be the core of my budget gaming comp.
I have a ultra dragon case and 500w x-connect power supply, and a copy of windows xp but was wanting some recomendations for a good cheap comp.


Budget for the rest of the build $700.00 was wanting to have nvidia for g-card if possible.

how does the 6600gt or 6800os compare to the 7800gt?
would there be a huge difference? wouldnt mind saving a lil to go towards the drives and fans

the 6800gs is the lowest you should go if you have the cash. but the 7800gt is a lot better than the 6800gs.
