X1600 PRO on 300watts

i am pretty sure the x800 series performs better than the x1600 series. its definalty better than the x1300

i am running:

3.00 Ghz P4
1GB ram
x800GTO
audigy 2
another soundcard
nasty dell/intel mobo
2x sata hdd
2x dvd opticals
3 extra fans
twin 4" cathodes

all from a not-very-good dell 305W psu. it is 18A @ 12v.

Well 6600GT performs around the same as the X1600PRO and I've heard of sometimes were it's run on a 300watt PSU, but it's not worth taking the risk. Upgrade to the X1600XT (much better for gaming and only like less than $50 more) and get a more solid PSU by FS Nortron or Antec.

ulk i dont even feel like buying a new PSU i might as well just get a mid ranged card that works well on a 300 watt and then just upgrade all my things later on in the future..
can anyone eles recommend a card that can run BF2 on medium settings- and guild wars on high

9800XT and 6600GT. Your best bet is to buy a PSU because that will be your problem from now onto whenever until you buy a new one.

the X1600 is a bad card for some reason it has terrible performance. but the X1800 and X1900 are great cards that run circles around its Nvidia competitors.
