I got a funny story to tell also I was in Staples a somewhat of a computer store, well i was in there looking a hdd's and an employie pointed out this video card for $130, it was a geforce 4000! He said it was top of the line I just walked away laughing outrageuosly! LOL! Geforce 4000! lol

get the one recommended above the 6800 GS way better than the 6800XT. You and your buddies should start doing some research.

The only card's I'd buy are the 6600GT, the 6800GS, and the 7800 or 7900 series. The stuff in between is just mild variations of what I listed.

6800xt is not bad... $104 after rebate is a good deal. if you can go $20 over budget, then definitely go for the 6800gs
