I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Power/Reset switches & the LEDs on the tower, and able to shed some light on the subject.

Only post I was able to find didn't really shed any light on the subject:

I want to build a custom Lexan tower. The only problem I am having now is trying to find out what kind of switches to use, and what LEDs to use for the Pwr/Rst Swtch & HDD/Mem LEDs.

So for the simple questions:

1) What type of switch do I need to buy?

2) What type of LEDs do I need to buy?

I know the LEDs come in different colors ;) - I was going to get a Blue for HD, to match the blue lighting, and Red for Mem LED.

I would pull from another case, but I do not have an extra tower kicking around anywhere. :(

~~ EDIT ~~
Finding out the type of switch really opened up the doors.

I found this while scouring through search engines. This might be of use to anyone else modding, or needing a replacement switch.

Here is the list of all the switches they carry.

You could try:

Or check the local electronic stores, like Radioshack, if you have those, I'm not sure if that store is world wide.

You can also try to find UK based mod sites. I'm not sure :( But hopefully that site will give you a hand.

I cannot find any UK sites that have the prewired ones. Sorry about all the updates, I keep scouring but to no avail.

i did find a sit actully, but that one looks good, thanks....hmm those anti vandal swithes are pretty sex

Yeah I like the looks to those switches, and I think they will look good in a Lexan case too.
