the x2 3800+, 4200+ and 4600+ are Manchester cores. basically 2 venice cores on a single chip. the 3800+ is clocked at 2.0ghz (multiplier is 10x) the 4200+ at 2.2ghz (11x) and the 4600+ at 2.4ghz (12x). they are all essentially the same cpu aside from the different multiplier which results in a different clock speed. the 4400+, 4800+ and FX-60 are toledo cores which is basically 2 san diego cores on one chip. they are clocked at 2.2ghz, 2.4ghz and 2.6ghz respectively. the 4400+ and 4800+ are once again basically the same processor with a different multiplier again (11x and 12x respectively). the FX-60 is almost the same but its multiplier is unlocked and is set to 13x by default.

edit: as an after thought if you don't know the difference between venice and san diego cores. they are virtually the same except the venice has 512kb L2 cache and the san diego has 1mb L2 cache

Errrr .... lol, so which one X2 should i stick with for gaming?

EDIT: Since the new FX-61 is coming out, should i buy one of the FX-55? or something like that?
