Well as far as a processor i would go for an Opteron! But those dont come cheap, so be prepared to invest most of your money into a processor (as it should be!that IS whats running your comp duh!)

yes evga is your best bet for a nvidia card. Whoever suggested the 1900xtx is just plain dumb. It cleary does NOT fit his budget. The 6800GT will be sweet for that build.

All looks great for that price. You might want to get 1gb of ram in a single stick so you can snag a 2nd down the road.

Antec makes better psus. GL with your build. Hope it suits you well and makes ya happy!

an eVGA 6800GS would be perfect tho they are extremely simple to OC and can get to very good speeds and they are only like $180 or mabye less on newegg right now
