I read the computer building guide but it doesn't talk about this particular ram question.

If my board uses pc3200 should I only put pc 3200 in it? Or could I use say pc4000 and get a better overclock from it? I want to get 1 stick of 1gb ram.

Plus can anybody suggest some good ram from newegg.com I'm looking to get 240fsb or more from the overclock of a skt754 system. Looking to spend under $100.

Does the motherboard have dual channel ram caperbilities?

I would get 2 512 sticks anyway as they overclock better than the 1gb sticks.

You can stick in any speeds and timmings that you want, as long as it is DDR, but remember that PC3200 ram for teh same price will overclock just as far if it is any good.

939 all the way! Take a look at the OCZ platnum Dual Channel...that is....if your pc supports dual channel!

look at ocz, G.SKILL, crucial, mushkin, and geil

they all make quality memory

I can't run dual channel since I'll be using socket 754 for now.
So does everyone agree that it doesn't matter what speed I get as long as its pc3200 or higher?
