Hi
I was poking and probing my old machine and i think i messed it up
It is(hopefully not was) a AMD K6-2 500 MHz with a Gigabyte motherboard.
the graphics card is a TNT -RIVA card.
I opened it and cleaned a lot of the components with a tissue(oops), the fan on the graphics card did not work properly earlier on, it was clogged up with dirt. so i tried my best to clean it.

components i took out
RAM module
Graphics card
Audio Card

now when i turn it on, it gives one long beep followed by 3 short ones. there is no video on the terminal
and i do not think the fan on the graphics card is going at all.

Any solutions from you guys would be much appreciated.

May have fried the GPU. Find the model of your mobo and check gigas website to find out what those POST beeps are.

NEVER clean a pc with a damn tissue man. Even if the PC is worth about as much as a box of tissue...

What Mobo do you have? Those beeps are the code your comp gives you to tell you what's wrong. You need to look those up on Gigabyte's website to see what they mean, or check your manual.

Make sure that all of the components that you removed are seated in properly.
You should use "canned air" or a vacuumm cleaner to remove dust.
Hope you get it straightened out.

I fixed it dudes,
i think the GPU was not sitting in it's AGP slot properly.
I have that can of compressed air some place, i could not resist the urge to clean it with tissue :), will not do it again.

Now, I will save all my precioussss data onto my new PC, except i got this funny blue screen, which says something like the disk cannot be booted or something
