Creating floppy boot disk problem

If I could get a link to a tutorial anywhere that tells me how to unpartition, this would be great as I can't find anything on the net so far that explains how to do this.

off the top of my head I think you need to delete the partitions you dont want then extend the other partition to include the unused space.

Alternatively you could use a third party utility like partition magic by power quest.

I like the first option, I am presently reading this tutorial I just found

Hope I can understand it but at any rate after reading through this tutorial I will try to do what you've suggested unless the tutorial has a diffrenet way but with step by step instructions, will post back here tomrow, had enough for today, will go read the tutorial and now and call it a night, see you guys tommorow, thanks.

Back on the project, I can't get to delete the extended partition because it asks for the "volume label" and this field is blank, any ideas?

ok, got it done just by hitting the Enter button when it asks for the volume label.

Just for the knowledge, "when" does someone know to use a bootdisk and to use a startup disk?
